A Painting Beyond a Surface, A narration and beyond , 2013
A site specific installation at the show 'Matter-Reality' at Chabir Haat, Dhaka, BD. Media: bricks, Light and string on space Size: 20ft x 20ft x 20ft (DV)
How far can physicality be the pivot of a work of art?
Are there any other possibility of two or three dimensional surface and space for
painting?
Are there any necessities of epistemological survey for new language and process
of a work of art?
Is there any necessity of rather narration of a work of art, when every object and
phenomenon has a narration of its own?
Are there any contradictions of plasticity with organism? If then, how does plastic
phenomenon negotiate with the organic entity of this universe and vice-versa?
Are there any possible ways to combine synthetic, physical, concrete phenomena
with natural, fluid and organic appearances?
When two dimensional shapes meet with three dimensional forms in some certain
plane, what do they convey by their thoughts?
How far could representation work, when we cannot picture what we are seeing,
thinking and conversing about? How could you save your piece from being politicized or pedagogic when every
single of your breath will also be contextualized? Did painting become sufficiently abstract yet? The problem of being an image and
of being a painting will distinctly dissect the description of 21st century painting
history. Possibility of abstracting painting will come up with the idea of abstracting
thoughts, not the image; as music itself did.
Can an artist live his materials? Can his piece be aestheticised by associative value
through the material of a work of art?
